Downloading documents

Download a document from a library to your local computer.

You can download a document from a library to your computer. This function allows you to work with documents on your computer, instead of working just within the library. Avoid edit conflicts by checking out the document that you download. Once you have finished working with the document from your computer, you will need to replace the document in the library with the updated document from your local computer.

To download a document:

  1. Click the down arrow next to the document name to display the menu.
  2. Click Download.
  3. Navigate to the local directory where you want to save the document.
  4. Click OK to download the document to your local computer.
